Patch Election Guide: Candidates and Polling Places

Your guide to the Monrovia Unified School District's Board of Education election on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Polls open at 7 a.m. in Monrovia for Tuesday's school board election. The top three vote-getters will win seats on the board, with incumbents Ed Gililland and Bryan Wong taking on challengers David Crabtree, Terrence Williams, Janeane Covarrubias, Rob Hammond, and Ed McCarthy.

There are 22,547 registered voters who can cast ballots in Monrovia on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder's office.
