Triple Digit Temps Forecast for Monrovia on Friday

Another heat wave will push temperatures into the high 90s Thursday with a high of 102 degrees forecast for Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures in Monrovia are expected to climb near the triple digits Thursday with a high of 102 degrees forecast for Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service issued a hazardous weather outlook warning of triple digit temperatures in the region over the weekend resulting from a high pressure system moving in.

Here's Monrovia's 7-Day forecast, courtesy of the NWS:

  • Today: Sunny and hot, with a high near 98. North wind around 5 mph becoming south southwest in the morning.
  • Tonight: Clear, with a low around 70. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming northeast in the evening.
  • Friday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 102. Light and variable wind becoming south southeast 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
  • Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 69. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Saturday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 99. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
  • Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 69.
  • Sunday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 97.
  • Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 64.
  • Monday: Sunny, with a high near 94.
  • Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63.
  • Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 93.
  • Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 63.
  • Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 93.
