Video: Disaster Drill in Monrovia Simulates Earthquake

The Monrovia Fire Department led a disaster drill in several locations across the city to train for emergency response during a catastrophic earthquake.

Monrovia tested its emergency response personnel Thursday in disaster drill that simulated a devastating earthquake.

Firefighters, police and city employees trained at several locations throughout the city. Firefighters at Station 2 on Myrtle Avenue simulated a rescue of wounded people in an unstable apartment building. Video of the simulation can be seen above.
