2011 State Test Scores: How Did Monrovia Do?

A look at English and Math STAR test scores in the Monrovia Unified School District released by the state on Tuesday.

State STAR testing scores were released this week for the and all other districts in California.

The district showed gains in English scores in grades 2, 3, 7, 8, and 10, with an increase of 8 percentage points in 8th grade English scores. Scores fell slightly in grades 4, 5, 6 and 11.

In Math, the district showed gains in grades 2, 3, and 7 but scores dipped in grades 4, 5, and 6.

Parents can see how individual schools performed by visiting the state's website and searching by school.

The tables below shows the percentage of MUSD students in each grade who scored at or above proficient in STAR testing compared to the same data last year.
