Citrus College Honors Campus Safety Officer

The Citrus College Board of Trustee recognized a campus safety officer for the college’s Above and Beyond – Classified Development Award.

David Ramirez, who has worked at Citrus College as a campus safety officer since 2006, was presented with the award during the Board of Trustees meeting April 2.

“Campus Safety plays an important role in the college’s ability to serve our students and our community,” said Dr. Geraldine M. Perri, superintendent/president.  “As a Campus Safety Officer, Mr. Ramirez has consistently demonstrated a professional demeanor when interacting with the public.  His thoughtful and professional way of handling situations makes him an asset to his department and to Citrus College.”

The ABCD Award honors an outstanding classified employee on a quarterly basis.
