From the Monrovia Unified School District:
This Friday 12/21/12 there is a world wide walk in memory of those who died in Newtown, Conneticut. It starts at 9:30 a.m. and will last 27 minutes, one minute in remembrance for each victim of this horrific tragedy.
You can wear green and white (the school's colors) and bring bubbles to blow at 9:57 a.m.
We will meet in front of the Monrovia Public Library water fountain at approximately 9:15 a.m. and will start the walk around the beautiful grounds of the library at exactly 9:30 a.m.
We live in such a united and beautiful community and this can be our way of showing our neighbors to the east we stand together in support of them.
Please spread the word and invite family and friends to join us in remembrance of the 27 we have lost but will never forget.
