The defending champion Wildcats football team travels to Chino Hills Friday to take on Ayala High School at 7 p.m.
The Bulldogs will be a tough test for the Wildcats, who have preyed on inferior Rio Hondo League competitors over the last two years, the Pasadena Star-News reports.
Ayala soundly beat Diamond Bar in its season opener last week, winning 46-17. The Bulldogs boast one of the best running backs in the San Gabriel Valley in Jordan Robinson, who scored three times against Diamond Bar, according to the Star-News.
Friday's game will offer a glimpse into the Wildcats' own runningback plans after star senior tailbacks Marquise Bias and De'Shawn Ramirez graduated last year. is expected to carry the load this year.
