Monrovia Football Takes on Ayala in Season Opener Friday
The defending champion Wildcats will face a formidable foe Friday when they take on Ayala High School in nonleague action.

The Bulldogs will be a tough test for the Wildcats, who have preyed on inferior Rio Hondo League competitors over the last two years, the Pasadena Star-News reports.
Ayala soundly beat Diamond Bar in its season opener last week, winning 46-17. The Bulldogs boast one of the best running backs in the San Gabriel Valley in Jordan Robinson, who scored three times against Diamond Bar, according to the Star-News.
