Monrovia Teacher Competing on 'Jeopardy!'

Claudia Gray became a Jeopardy! champion on Friday and will return to the television quiz show on Monday night.

Monrovia substitute teacher Claudia Gray won on Jeopardy! last week and returns to "America's Favorite Quiz Show" Monday to defend her title.

A video of Gray introducing herself can be viewed on the Jeopardy! website.

"There is no substitute for Jeopardy! so watch me," she says in the video.

On her Facebook page, Gray called her appearance on Jeopardy! "one of the highlights of my life." There is a spoiler alert for that page, however: the shows were taped in February, and Gray says exactly how long she lasted.

MUSD Superintendent Linda Wagner said Gray is not employed by the district. Gray works out of the Walnut Valley Unified School District, according to her online profile on LinkedIn.
