Monrovia Unified API Scores Dip From Last Year

Despite the dip, the district score remains above the state target.

Monrovia Unified School students saw a decline in Academic Performance Index scores, but continue perform above the state target, according to data released this week by the California Department of Education.

The district had a score of 807, compared to 815 last year.  The state target for the test is 800.

The state also saw a small dip, going from 791 last year to 789 this year. Overall, 56 percent of elementary schools statewide, 50 percent of middle schools, and 31 percent of high schools are now meeting the 800 target benchmark, officials said.

Below are scores for Monrovia Unified School District campuses. The first number is the 2013 score and the second number is for 2012.
