Monrovia Wildcats Headed to State Regional Playoffs

The Monrovia High School football team will take on a team from San Diego in a state regional playoff game on Saturday.

The Monrovia High School Wildcats football team was selected by CIF to play in the Division III state regional playoffs and will host the contest on Saturday, Dec. 8.

The Wildcats will play Madison High School from San Diego at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to MHS athletic director Randy Bell.

"We're giddy," Bell said.

The winner of the game will play in the Division III state championship bowl game at the Home Depot Center on Dec. 15, Bell said.
