State Playoffs: A Look at the Wildcats' Opponent

The Monrovia High School football team will play underdog Saturday when it takes on Madison High School from San Diego, a team ranked 68th in the state.

If the Wildcats want to get to the CIF Division III South state championship bowl game at Home Depot Center, they'll have to go through the Madison High School Warhawks first.

The Warhawks have won their league's title seven times in the last eight years, according to the school's website. The team played in the state championship bowl game in 2010 and lost to Escalon, a northern California team.
