Superintendent Search: Who Will Take Over for Linda Wagner?

The Monrovia Unified School District Board of Education will decide Wednesday whether to accept Superintendent Linda Wagner's resignation and determine how to find her replacement.

The Monrovia Unified School District Board of Education will decide how to move forward Wednesday after Superintendent Linda Wagner tendered her resignation to take a job in Anaheim.

School Board President Chris Rich said in an interview with Patch that the board has not yet decided whether to appoint an interim superintendent to take over the district's administration during the search for Wagner's replacement. Wagner announced Tuesday that she is resigning to take the top administrative post in Anaheim.

"She was a good superintendent," Rich said. "We wish her well in Anaheim."
