Monrovia Unified School District Superintendent will resign her post at MUSD to take the same job in the Anaheim school district, she announced Tuesday.
Wagner will take over the superintendent position in Anaheim in April. The district covers grades K-6 and comprises nearly 20,000 students, according to Wagner.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for career advancement," Wagner said in an email. "I have had a great experience in Monrovia. We have a very strong staff and community, working together to do great things for kids. I am most grateful for the opportunity to have worked here."
