Monrovia High School Kicks Off Season Ranked No. 1 in Mid-Valley

CIF-Southern Section polls of area prep football teams lists Monrovia High School in the top spot in the Mid-Valley, the Pasadena Star News reported.

The Wildcats beat No. 2 ranked Paraclete last year to claim their third consecutive division title. They kick off their quest for a fourth tonight with a season opener at home against Ayala High School.

The rest of the Mid-Valley's rankings for this week have Sierra Canyon at No. 3, Northview ranked fourth, Windward fifth, Viewpoint sixth, San Dimas seventh, San Marino eighth, Bell Gardens ninth, and Arroyo 10th, the newspaper reported.
