Poll: Is Monrovia a Lakers or Clippers Town?

The balance of power in Los Angeles basketball may be shifting. What will that mean for your allegiances?

As local basketball fans know, Chris Paul's arrival in Los Angeles was supposed to be greeted by fans wearing purple and gold. But the NBA commissioner vetoed the trade sending Paul to the Lakers, and he eventually made his way to the city's other basketball team.

The Clippers' potential to finally make it deep into the playoffs with a core of young talent has been widely speculated on by sports pundits around the country. Meanwhile, the Lakers are getting old and dropped their first two games of the season before beating the Jazz Tuesday.

What does this new balance of power mean for your allegiances? Are you a lifelong Laker fan ready to hop onto the Clippers bandwagon? Are you a closet Clipper fan ready to proudly announce your loyalty? Will you be rooting for both LA teams, or neither? Tell us why! And please vote in the poll below!
