Wildcats Baseball Falls in Semis of Elks Tournament
Monrovia faces Temple City in third place game on Thursday.
The Monrovia baseball team suffered its first loss of the young season Tuesday when the Wildcats lost 3-2 to San Dimas in the semifinals of the Elks Tournament.
Luis Mercado went 2-for-3 with one RBI to lead the Wildcats. Mason Bryant, Carl Daniels and Kevin Pestanas each finished the game with one hit.
The Wildcats (2-1) committed five errors in the loss, and none of San Dimas' runs were earned.
