Who Makes the Meanest Chili in Monrovia?

A chili cook-off fundraiser will determine the city's chili champion later this month.

The second annual Monrovia Reads "Chili Bowl" will pit the city's finest chili cookers against each other to raise money for the literacy charity next month.

The fundraiser kicks off on July 21 and will include food, a bar and entertainment for a minimum donation of $100 that benefits the Monrovia Reads organization. Attendees will determine the winner of the chili cook-off.
