Saving Money!

Walmart, the shopping place.  Want to save money?  Are you in good health?  Then, Walmart is the place for you.  There are two Walmarts nearby for Monrovia seniors.  One is on the east side of Mountain Ave. just below the 210.  The other is in Covina on North Azusa Ave.  Why Walmart?  Walmart has a great discount brand called, Great Value.  If you buy Great Value items ranging from paper towels to toilet paper, cereals, to canned beans, you will save considerable amounts of cash over brand names at say, Vons.   The negative is, you have to be in reasonably good shape to stand on your feet and push that cart through crowded aisles until you have found all the household items you need.  There will be aggravation, shoppers blocking aisles oblivious to anyone else, and crowds of bargain hunters.  But in the end, the money saved each and every month is worth it.  I’m retired, so the way I look at it these days is, “Saving money IS my job.”
