This Friday, Monrovians can fix their grill for free.
The will be offering free dental care to the "first 100+" patients who show up to the dentists' Monrovia headquarters on Friday, Aug. 3. The event is being put on in partnership with non-profit Dentistry from the Heart.
"From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Foothill Dental Group’s dentists, assistants, and hygienists will donate their time and resources to provide the first 100 adult patients with one of the following high-quality dental services: tooth extraction, filling, or cleaning," according to a news release. "The purpose for the event is to provide much needed health care and relief to people in the community."
The event marks the fourth time the FDG has held a free clinic.
"We know it can be tough on families today to get basic dental care, said Dr. Emily Letran, owner of FDG, in a statement. "Some may have lost their insurance, and others simply can’t afford to pay out of their own pockets. That’s why we wanted to continue offering this program. On Friday August 3rd the smiles are on us!"
