Mark Still Named Monrovia's 'Older American of the Year'

The curator of Monrovia's Historical Museum will be honored by the City Council next week.

Mark Still is making Monrovia history for a change after helping the city to relive it for so long.

The curator of the will receive the city's "Older American of the Year" award Tuesday for his contributions to local lore. He follows in the footsteps of last year's winner, .

"It's very nice to be recognized like that and more importantly it brings a lot of recognition to the museum," said Still, crediting the other volunteers who have helped at the museum over the years.

Still will travel to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in May to meet other "Older Americans of the Year" from throughout the state.
