Mike Scioscia to Visit Monrovia Boys & Girls Club
The former Dodger catcher and World Series-winning manager of the Angels will have a building dedicated in his honor by the Boys & Girls Club of the Foothillls on Saturday.
The will dedicate its main clubhouse to Angels manager Mike Scioscia on Saturday in appreciation of his continued support of the organization.
Scioscia will be on hand Saturday, May 5 at 11:30 a.m. for the dedication ceremony, which will also serve as an induction ceremony for the club's "Hall of Fame." The inductees will include Mary Wilcox, Joe Santoro, Fred and Diane Bowden, Bob Bartlett, the Hoffman family and former Executive Director Bob Monk.
