You can't miss this landmark building with its faux stone facade and carvings. The antique hotel opened in 1925 and was designed by Robert Stanley-Judd with a Mayan (not Aztec) aesthetic. It has gone through a few hands since its inception and was named a Historic Place in 1978. With the mountains and Santa Anita Park so close by, this quirky relic is well worth a visit.
