City of Hope Medical Group provides comprehensive care for patients dealing with cancer, HIV, diabetes and other potentially terminal diseases. For almost a century, the group has hosted physicians, students and researchers with an interest in education and treatment for those who are battling life-threatening illnesses. The center is headquartered in Duarte but has nine of its departments in Monrovia: patient business services, central processing, human resources, managed care, finance, information sciences, corporate accounting, information technology and purchasing.
