<p>The Monrovia Public Library is situated inside Library Park in the heart of Old Town Monrovia. The 190,000-book facility opened in 2009 as a result of a $16 million voter-approved bond measure.</p> <p>The city bills the library as environmentally friendly and sustainable. It features adult, child and teen areas, a community room and a heritage room where old books and documents relating to the city's history are stored. The library's catalog can be searched on-line.</p>
