N is about the smartest person here.... Yes, why aren't grey water and rainwater systems requiredRead More for ALL new construction? What don't I understand? I've put this question out to various water agencies including the MWD with no reply.
DR July 9, 2014 at 03:20 pm
If things are that bad, why not stop building new homes, businesses for awhile until we get someRead More substantial rainfall? This is a short-term contribution, I realize, and affects more than just water, but then also do what the others have suggested and institute the grey water/rainwater systems in the future. It's just ridiculous that we are told to conserve, conserve, conserve everything and then all that does is drive costs up. And, building continues so demand increases, etc. Darned if you do, darned if you don't.

Have the massive developments planned for the I-5 corridor north of LA been postponed indefinitely?Read More Development = less percolation + more runoff + more water use = less water for everyone.

Attn: Mr. R. Terry Date: Monday June 09, 2014 It is because of gamblingRead More that some horses and bulls lose their lives. When horses continue to have a losing streak the owner is not making any cash off that horse, it is off to the Glue Factory with that horse. If a horse breaks it's leg in the race it is off to the Glue Factory with that horse. Bulls will die automatically in a Bull Fight after the Matador sticks both swords in the bull's throat from the left and right side of the bull. So don't tell me gambling has nothing to do with your comment. I understood what you were saying. But these animals are going to be killed if there is no money to be made that is all there is to it. I don't like it anymore than you do. But it seems that way the ball bounces and one of us is going to have to catch and stop that ball from bouncing. The best. The NRA and its gun loving clones are absolutely disgusting.
Craig Marston June 3, 2014 at 01:35 pm
Let's not loose our heads with this terrible tragedy and jump on the gun control bandwagon. TheRead More first three were killed with a knife. In a perfect land of no guns I belive these killings would have continued. Once again reconizing mental illness was the key.
Vito Spago June 3, 2014 at 01:37 pm
What did the NRA do. I do not think the NRA has made any comment on the IV killings.

Let Chu know she's through.Vote her OUT June 3rd! Monrovia Voted,as a tax paying resident theRead More Hillsides are mine. Chu hasn't offered 2 pay my taxes. How about yours. Monrovia has been taxed and paid for our hillsides many years. Chu has a heck of a lot nerve to try and steal Monrovia's land. Monrovia has a large CVS,is Chu planning to head on in and shoplift what ever she fancy's? Vote Chu out June 3rd.
R. Ray Morford May 12, 2014 at 10:19 am
R Ray Morford.....Monrovia City Council voted to keep the Wilderness area out of the NRA over theRead More objections of our Mayor. She went along with the vote to save face. Like a spoiled child she brought in outsiders to comment in favor of the proposed take over. Her comments show she is in Judy Chu's hip pocket. Anything to make the Mayor look good. Can you imagine giving the land to the Federal Government while we're still paying taxes on the property? Over 80% of Monrovia Citizens voted to buy the Wilderness area. Who do you trust? Big Government CHU/LUTZ or local control?
