Clifton Middle School is a centrally located Monrovia Unified School District public school on South Ivy Avenue. ItMore is one of two public middle schools in Monrovia.

Clifton has been recognized as a "high performing school"  by State Superintendent Jack O'Connell, according to its website. The school works to help students interact with the greater community around them to develop diverse intellectual, cultural, social and emotional skills. Clifton's sports programs include football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, track and field as well as cross country.

The only 9 - 12 comprehensive high school in the Monrovia Unified School District, Monrovia High School is locatedMore on Colorado Boulevard near the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. 

Major construction funded by a $45 million bond measure passed by voters in 2006 is intended to transform the campus by adding a new science building with modern technology labs, a new gymnasium, a new stadium and bleachers and other renovations.  

MHS has a traditional six period day with an advanced placement program, an AVID program and an array of support classes for English Language Learners.

Established in 1893, the school offers sports programs in cheer, cross country, football, tennis, volleyball, water polo, basketball, soccer, wrestling, baseball, softball, golf, tennis, track and field and swimming. The mascot is the wildcat.
