BEAR ALERT FOR MAGNOLIA AVE AND PRIMROSE AVE.

Tuesday, July 22, 2013:   There was a medium sized Brown Bear ambling through the alley between Monroe Place and Oaks Ave. Tuesday morning at around 1:30am.  The bear had evidently made the rounds of trash cans through the alley from Magnolia Ave. to Primrose Ave.  He or she was last seen going either north or south on Primrose Ave. from out of the alley.  This was a beautiful bear, with a nice coat and very healthy looking.  Could have been in a Petting Zoo if bears were allowed in petting zoos.  I have noticed lately being retired and working on my computer in the front window area, every day pretty much, that all the animals, dear with small fawns, coyotes and such, appear to be so healthy and well fed.  Amazing that animals living in a desert climate in the foothills look so good.

This was the second time there was a bear in the alley.  The first time about two months ago, at around three am, a small black bear turned over a bin and went through the trash bags, leaving quite a mess.
