The options for eating out have increased recently with the opening of both Panera Bread and Smashburger last week.
Now it is Chipotle Mexican Grill's turn, with the store set to open next to the other two in the Huntington Oaks Shopping Center on Thursday.
The first Chipotle opening in Colorado in 1993. Twenty years later, the company has more than 900 restaurants nationwide.
Chipotle emphasizes using organic ingredients, meats without antibiotics or hormones, and locally grown produce when possible, according to the company's website.
The Monrovia location is in the center at West Huntington Drive and South Mayflower Avenue.
